Our Mission
Believe In What’s Possible is a youth-led movement transforming Minnesota’s political landscape by organizing, mobilizing, and developing young leaders to shape the future. We center youth voices—especially those historically excluded—by turning community strength into political impact and creating spaces for youth to build political belonging, challenge norms, and drive systemic change. We are transforming our generation’s latent and informal power into formal political power (recognition, titles, funding, influence, impact, etc).
Our Vision
Believe In What’s Possible envisions a future where young voices are valued and shaping all levels of power (government, organizing, and campaigning) through a lasting, interconnected network of young leaders, organizers, and creators.
“This was the most politically engaged I have been healthily ... BIWP provided a space for necessary conversations.”
Theory of Change
Believe In What’s Possible (BIWP) centers the voices of those traditionally excluded from political decision-making—Black, Brown, unhoused, foster, femme, and LGBTQ+ youth—and targets the spaces that have ignored youth, such as caucuses, conventions, primaries, and local elections. BIWP works to build an informed, inspired, and mobilized base of youth leaders who have access to the resources, communities, and spaces necessary to drive political change on their own terms. Through youth-led community organizing, we create spaces, content, and conversations about Minnesota politics to build power that can’t be ignored or exploited.
Our Generation
Gen Z has demanded transformational change on social issues, including climate change, gun control, reproductive rights, LGBTQIA+ equality, racial justice, healthcare, and more. However, current politics rarely engages our generation in ways that are empowering, sustainable, and solutions-focused. Believe In What’s Possible will show political leaders that they can only run, win, and govern effectively when they engage, employ, and advocate alongside our generation.
